Do NOT change usernames

The new username system proposed is an awful awful idea to such a non issue.

"We're changing it so discord tags are easier to share! It's sooo hard to remember all those numbers! And what about how clunky it is to say which is uppercase and lowercase!? What about special letters?"

1. The four numbers are NOT that hard to remember; I can remember my own phone number, I can remember my discriminator. If it *is* difficult for someone to remember, it's really not hard to check or have it written down if necessary?

2. It might be a bit clunky to specify uppercase and lowercase, but is that really such a big deal? Most of the time people are copy/pasting or just writing down their tag anyways? I don't see how this warrants changing the entire system to something worse for everyone.

3. If special characters are such a hassle then you could hypothetically just not allow special characters, but even then I don't think its as big of a deal that it's so necessary to change that. Of course, changing it to only latin letters also screws over anyone who's language has different characters, which is stupid. I feel like if you're going to make your username have weird special characters, you're kind of already prepared to have to deal with how it might be harder to share it-- it's like buying a bag of peanuts and then complaining there are nuts in your peanuts. Again it doesn't seem like such an issue that it warrants changing the entire system over? Like I said most people copy/paste anyways??

None of these seem worth changing the entire system over, especially not when the proposed system is objectively *worse*! Name sniping is going to be *insane*, especially if you're doing this... weird system in which only a few people get to change their username at a time, prioritizing longtime users, means someone who had their discord longer than you can snipe your own username? What an awful idea!

Impersonation is going to be crazy, not to mention account selling and a whole slew of other issues! And the idea of being forced to make my public username my discord username that random people can just search up and find me at any point means users are also losing a bit of their *privacy*! Discord is not my social media! I don't want my Discord to be my social media!!!! People being unable to find me from my username alone unless *I* gave them my information was a FEATURE not a bug!!!

The discriminators meant everyone could have their own custom username without it being taken, and I always thought that was the best feature of Discord, allowing us to be able to express ourselves without being limited. And now you're scrapping it to be like every other social media??? For such small, non issues that minorly bother a very small portion of the userbase???

I've already cancelled my nitro, I encourage others to do the same to get Discord to really pay attention. I know many people only even *bought* nitro to customize their discriminator, and you really think they're going to keep paying for it now? Unreal.
