Discriminators are in a bad state, but can be fixed instead of removed
The solution is simple: Shorten them by one digit and make them alphanumeric.
Their memorability is greatly improved, and the maximum number of identical names jumps from 10,000 to 46,656.
Here's a randomly-generated set of examples so you can see how much more memorable the discriminators are this way:
Bellatrix#KIJ
Bellatrix#EO6
Bellatrix#MPP
Bellatrix#IK9
Bellatrix#4E6
Since my discriminator is 7819, an alphanumeric conversion of that would be 617.
Bellatrix#617 is a lot easier to remember than Bellatrix#7819 right? People remember numbers far less easily past the third digit.

I've also seen people suggest just keep it as four digits and add letters. Either one works. Personally I haven't seen anyone who supports the change think a shorter tag would be memorable either; it seems to be either "you are capable of remembering four simple numbers" or "you are incapable of remembering anything except a twitter handle format"
Please, also add your opinion via vote and comment to the megapost at https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/14337329256983--Do-NOT-add-The-new-discord-usernames-system ! Literally anything other than changing to twitter handles would work!
