pls stop adding features

it bothers me when you change my experience. most of your changes have been bad. discord was already fine without any changes. please leave it the way it is. i am extremely bothered when you mess with it. it's like a parent coming and rearranging all the furniture in their kids room. it feels like you are rearranging my safe space and filling it with corporate pictures and slogans. the things you are adding were meant to be cool and exciting but they feel so advertisementy and fake. like super reactions are just blatantly "hey look! a cool thing!" with a billion sparklies to act cool, but it's so so so uninteresting. it feels like fake enthusiasm and i know it's really just a cash grab trying to get more nitro people. i think you don't really know your users at all or what they want. maybe it's better if you leave things alone. i used to think you were cool but now i'm realizing you are another dumb corporation with no style or coolness at all.

You're right. Discord has been for the last few years - ever since the rebranding, really - just pushing and forcing more and more unwanted features and fluff on the userbase, causing bloat and lag and generally just making the entire client unpleasant to use.

There's a big thread here (https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/14337329256983--Do-NOT-add-The-new-discord-usernames-system) for speaking up about the username change, but I still suggest you search for discord alternatives at this rate.

Meh, I like the new features, such as Automod, Onboarding, Channel Emojis etc... Just makes things better and easier. Though I'm a bit against Clyde AI and just neutral about the username update. :)
