Channel Icons

A good way to describe a channel at a glance is the channel's icon, however, the current channel icons are kind of limiting for customizability. In my mind there are two ways to fix this issue:

• Add in more channel types (for example a music channel with a little music note icon)
• Allow the users to customize their icons based on a preset icon library
• Allow the users to customize the logo based on their discord nitro subscription. With this subscription, they can add custom icons like how emojis can be added to servers.

These features can really help to express one's self in a server and can also allow people who have never used Discord to be able to find channels easier.
