The notification handling method on the iOS lock screen

It would be great if notifications from a specific channel on the server disappeared from the lock screen after reading the messages. Currently, notifications do not disappear automatically; they only clear when individually clicked on. This means that if we have a large number of notifications from a particular channel, we have to manually clear them one by one each time. In such a situation, it is very inconvenient to use notifications on the phone because it creates a significant amount of clutter on the lock screen. It can also be misleading because by default, when we read a message, we expect it to disappear from the lock screen, but in this case, it doesn't.

    Let me provide an example: if we receive a large number of notifications from the same channel on the server, they will be grouped together on the lock screen. When we want to transition from the notifications to the app, we tap on the group and then select one message from that group. We then enter the app and read all the messages, not just the selected one. Upon returning to the lock screen, we see that all the remaining messages from that chat we have already read are still present. This is highly frustrating because other applications, such as Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, or even the built-in messaging app on the phone, do not function this way. In the Discord app, every time we go back to the lock screen, we have to remember which chat we read and manually clear those notifications.
