Direct Message Priority

Hi,

I've been using Discord for quite some time, and there's one feature that I wish was more readily accessible in all circumstances - the ability to see new DMs come in regardless how far down the server list you've scrolled. As someone who uses Do Not Disturb on an everyday basis, I like to have exceptions made for direct messages to me - on the taskbar it merely shows up as a ping which is no guarantee whether or not it's an everyone/here tag, a direct mention of me, or a direct message.

Something I'd like to see implemented is, as an example, the topmost part of the server list - where the friends list/DMs are located, to remain at the top of the list no matter how far down the server list you are. That way you can see at a glance who just DM'd you while on the window, rather than have to lose your place scrolling through servers just to click to the topmost unread ping. I've found myself hunting for the server I'm presently talking in as a result of reading DMs more than once, because I can't remember where in the list I placed the server and I'm not the greatest at spotting icons, especially if the colour of it matches the server image and blends in.

I don't know if this could be implemented in any practical way but it's something I think would be really useful for people.
