Nitro Gift Button is Intrusive
-
What OP said. It also just doesn't make sense from a function perspective. If I want to give someone Nitro, it's because I've talked to them a lot and grew close to them. Then I'll give them Nitro once. *Once!* And then continue talking to them. That could be thousands of messages, dozens of pictures, and the entire time I'm constantly having to take care to avoid (and failing to avoid) accidentally clicking on the Nitro button. A button I may use once. Ridiculous!

It's infuriatingly bad design to put a button for something so rarely used in the spot where people click multiple times every day. Honestly who is reviewing your user experience? This makes me not want to give nitro or purchase it again.

100%. I share images constantly and it's a reflex at this point to hit that button so I'm constantly getting frustrated. I have Nitro but now I need to look for a way to rollback to a previous version and hope it reverts the UI, which is a pain I don't want to pay for. Asinine decision

I nod my head in agreement. I just updated my app and am dissapointed yet also minor outraged at this. My first reaction was to find out where I could send feedback about it and am glad to see that other users hate it as well. I really hope the team gets rid of it, even my friends who don't have Nitro are on the same page we are! If they wanted to get this premium, they would if they had the extra cash. Maybe I'll gift it to them if I'm feeling generous, but not after this; not right now.

This! It is growing beyond irritating how many times I misclick it when trying to share an image 🙄

Accidentally tapping the gift nitro button isn't going to make me buy nitro, it's going to make me want to look for alternative apps.

Alright, calm down with the complaints. One, by muscle memory you SHOULD know that the image button is on the left side, and not right. Instead the gift button's on the right side.
Also, it's appearance in the chat bar could be toggled on/off from a setting.
It's use is fairly simple:
Maybe you're doing a nitro drop, but you forgot to buy the gift before announcing it and there's two minutes on the clock. Even though it's pretty small the time difference, it would help out.-6 -

A. The whole point is to give feedback. For everyone complaining the entire thing is a negative to the experience. And so they're saying so. You're not in any position to tell anyone to stop complaints, you just come across as full of yourself.
B. It's a small screen, thumbs miss, and again you're not in a position to tell people what they "SHOULD" do. It might not be inconvenient to someone without friends to talk to, but for those of us who talk to people while on the go, it's inconvenient.
C. See my comment on how one situation that's got a miniscule chance of happening doesn't justify inconveniencing an overwhelming larger portion of the userbase just about ever single time they try and send a picture.
D. In regards to your suggestion, given you're the only one who seems to want it, the option in the setting should to be turn it on, and it should be off by default so that everyone understands the point of a feedback thread can not have to deal with it and you can continue to mindlessly try and justify everything people don't like.4
