Reputation System (to counter trolls and raiders)

As you all may have seen, trolls and raiders are very prevalent on discord. They join servers just to wreak havoc, in either big or small ways. Spamming, mass mentioning, breaking rules. Most servers have rules but there’s nothing really checking who joins your server, if your server is public you have it open to anyone, including trolls. My solution for this, would be a reputation system tied to your account that only gets affected by bans. You’ll start off with 0 rep points, which could be labeled as Good. When you are banned from a server, you’d loose one rep point. This would have minimal impact to your rep, because for you to drop to Okay or Bad rep you’d have to get banned from a couple of servers. The reason i say this is, if you get unbanned from a server, you’ll gain one rep point. This is to prevent someone from being labeled as bad from being banned over and over from the same server. If someone wants to recover their rep though, they can do so by not loosing rep for two weeks. Reputation Good: 0 to -9 Okay: -10 to -19 Bad: -20 or below Above, it means, if you’re currently banned from more than 20 servers, your rep will show up as Bad. So let’s say you’re currently banned from 15 servers, your rep shows up as Okay. You also gain +1 rep if you haven’t been banned from a server for more than one week. (caps at 0) So in theory, someone with Bad rep can return to Good rep if they don’t get banned from any servers for 2 months and 2 weeks straight. (That’s if they were at -20, if they were worse then it would take longer). Why this could be beneficial for discord servers: If there’s another feature added to servers, where only Good or Okay rep members can join, then it could limit trolls joining to wreak havoc. And if server owners want even better people, they could restrict joining to Good rep users only. If the server owner doesn’t want a restriction, they can leave it as default. Which would be that any rep can join. I know what you’re thinking, trolls can just create a new account to get good rep back. Well that’s true, but this adds an extra obstacle. Having to create a new account everytime is more annoying than just finding a new server to troll. Ofc it won’t remove trolls entirely but it will lessen what they can do. It’s not perfectly smoothed out but it’s a great idea, I think discord needs it for the raiding problems.
