'Permaboosts"

Here's my proposal: Allow users to buy 'Permaboosts.' This would allow people to buy a server boost that does not expire when their nitro expires, and can be moved to a new server every 7 days. (This could be modified so boosts cannot be transferred if the user does not currently have nitro, therefore increasing pressure to buy nitro, even though the boosts themselves are permanent.) These boosts could cost more than normal boosts, or, they could only be obtained through something like, say, a long nitro streak (say, 5 months) This way, users still need nitro to get the boost in the first place, and they can't get an unlimited amount either. I believe these could increase community engagement in servers through boosting, and allow for another stream of revenue for Discord, while also allowing for more perks for being a long time nitro member.

    I like your idea. I would love to see a permanent boost feature but at the end of the day, think about it for a second... Discord get their money from people constantly paying for Nitro and boosts (If you didn't know you can buy just boosts without Nitro) every day.
    Now, let's be real... Most people want Nitro because of the boost.
    So, if the boost was permanent that would make Discord lose A TON of money.

    And also, if you would need to have Nitro to transfer the boost to a different server, then what would happen if the server you are currently "permanently" boosting gets terminated? Or you get kicked/banned?
    That's an issue.

    And you can't really say that, well, you'll just get to transfer it... No. You will easily be able to abuse this by just simply leaving the server.
    Cool idea, but it'll make Discord lose a lot money which means that Discord will most likely never add this, sadly.
