Watch someones stream in overlay

It would be really nice if I could watch someones stream, or my friends webcams in an overlay. You could select only stream, or webcams and have the be speaker mode so you only have one person in frame at a time. This could work similarly to the google chrome video overlay function. I would love to watch the streams while I work on something else or play a simple game.
