UI Toggling Option
Please give us the option to go back to the old UI. This new one is inaccessible, it LITERALLY hurts to look at, the new font is hard to read, and I've had lots of friends complain about eye strain, headaches, and dyslexic friends struggle with reading your new font. Hell, even removing how absolutely ableist and horrible this change was, it looks bad. The oversaturation of the indigo clashes with the dark mode theme. The new fonts look childish. It just looks bad. My friends and I are probably going to look into a less harmful chatting app now.
Take this massive mistake as an opportunity to give us a new feature: customizing themes. Otherwise, you have just driven away a host of users, and cemented yourselves as an unfeeling, ableist company.

I feel like they're trying to wait it out for the new uproar to calm down, but we can't let that happen. It's been around 3 days since they first rolled out that update, they most likely won't do a change until like a week

I put my devices into greyscale to use discord right now. Not something I ever thought I'd have to do. It's way easier on the eyes. The logo has been over simplified like every other logo out there but whatever. I'll live. But I'm not gonna damage my eyes from a poor choice in colour. The new font is actually more unbalanced than the original logo was. Like, they wanted to change the logo cause the last one was asymmetrical, but then they went with a font that doesn't even align correctly as far as uppercase/lowercase height goes. The poor 'i' has just been abandoned.

@lilmisselmo I wholeheartedly agree. Eye strait galore. Every server I’m in users are talking about eye strain, horrible color choice, horrible font choice, and Clyde has lost all personality and just looks like a standard Xbox controller with a smiley face. The logo makes me sad, I’m not proud of it anymore and will not be buying and merch with the new logo. Even looking at the submit button typing this hurts my eyes. For the first time in years I had to remove discord from my Home Screen, because the color is physically painful to look at. I don’t mean that figuratively, it makes my eyes hurt/itch/feel uncomfortable.

Definitely don’t let the uproar calm down, yeah. I noticed that Discord replied to someone’s concerns about accessibility with a feedback form about this kind of issues. I filled it out already, so I hope others in do and share it with friends as well to let them know how inaccessible and garish the new colors, font, etc. are for users.
