Update is the opposite of friendly and welcoming

The new color is eye-searing, even (somehow) when viewed with night mode/blue light filters. The new logo manages to be threatening in a sterile, "we value income over customer experience" way, I think largely due to the sharp edges - who wants to hold a controller that'll slice their hands open? And if you were trying to get rid of the "Mickey Mouse pants" look the old one had, you failed miserably - again owing to the sharp edges, the new one looks even MORE like Mickey Mouse pants. The ONLY thing about the brand update that looks welcoming or friendly is the new typography. Keep that and give us back the old logo and color - or at the very least include an option to toggle between the new and old logo/color. If a step counting app can add an option to change the colors of its home screen icon, surely you can too.

This new branding is utterly wrong and disgusting.
I can't even believe this font was "considered" at all.

Worst decision in the history of this company. So bad i believe it was a april fool i missed or something.

Discord ? i don't care however stupid manager or bullshit chief officier decided this awful logo was a thing. Remove this piece of crap.

I noticed that Discord replied to someone’s concerns about accessibility with a feedback form. I filled it out already, so I hope others in do and share it with friends as well to let them know how inaccessible and garish the new colors, font, etc. are for users.

They claim accessibility is taken very seriously, so let’s be sure to inform them of how difficult these new changes are for people.
