the new ui makes discord difficult to navigate for people who aren’t neurotypical

i have adhd, very badly. all of the brightness from pings especially in servers with a lot of reactions or pings or channel mentions make the app unuseable for me. i get nauseous and extremely overwhelmed, and it isn’t just me who feels like this. if you don’t change it, at least make it a toggle feature because i cannot use discord with it like this.

  as someone with ADHD, the blurple was nice because it wasnt distracting. the white is a very upsetting change which has made everything harder and harder to do because i cant do anything without getting distracted by a mention or channel.
