A solution regarding recent updates
Personally I do not see anything wrong, Perhaps it's because I am on a different type of phone.
But I do think that maybe there could be a setting to allow users to switch between certain designs and updates . Mostly related to fonts, emotes , icons , @ tags. And whatnot. Maybe it'll diminish the amount of complaints made by unhappy users . After all , sometimes change is scary , and some people aren't ready.
I hope my idea is alright, since it could be a sort of compromise. Have a good day everyone

Adding some customizability to the visual aspect of discord would solve a lot of the uproar about change, it would be a smart thing to do

Definitely, I completely agree. And I personally do believe that discord will see this and will do that. It would take a lot of weight of their shoulders

I 100% respect the people who like the new update but I and many other users hate it and I think an option to revert back to older designs is a perfect compromise. I hope that the discord team will implement a feature to make this possible
