Problems with new colors, and suggestion to fix problem.

I understand wanting to do change and feel like moving forward with the times, but the new colors is too bright and hurts the eyes. I'm using the default dark mode and the pings are so bright that I can't stay on a channel with a ping until it's off the screen. That new bright indigo is eye straining too.

What you can do to please everyone that likes the new look and doesn't like the new look.
Give an option in settings for bright(new) and pale(classic) pings and icons. Not make it a theme but a sub category for themes, so those that use any theme can chose what they wish without having to change the theme they prefer just to have the old look.

Personal semi-unrelated opinion warning.
One thing I don't understand is changing your iconic blurple to indigo during the time where people are changing to blurple icons. I actually had a blurple icon until today because there's no point to keep it blurple when your now bright indigo.

I heavily agree. Legit had to take the app off my Home Screen, it hurts my eyes to look at. Certain shades of blue or Indigo have always been a problem for me….and discord has been front and center on my Home Screen for years until today. I almost can’t stand to even open the app!
