Overlaying Pop-up Windows for Voice Chats

I was thinking it would be nice and convenient if there were a pop-up window feature for voice chats. I'm thinking of just a small window the user can plop onto one of the sides or corners of the screen, with various VC buttons like Mute and Disconnect, so that the user can easily do those things when he needs to.
