Accessibility Issues with new colours.
The new colours for discord are really jarring. As a neurodivergent user, I use all my websites and social media in dark mode, because light mode causes eye strain and sensory overload.
The new saturated colours, especially on dark mode, are very painful to look at, and makes it difficult to read and focus.
It also makes using my DM's very distracting, because my attention keeps being drawn towards the bright icon in the corner, and away from the chat.
The original Discord colour was really kind on the eyes, and whilst I understand feeling the need to rebrand, a lot of these changes feel unnecessary and are causing accessibility issues, not just for myself, but for others too. I've heard multiple complaints from dyslexic users about the new font.
Your update mentioned talking to 'over 26,000' for feedback, but that doesn't seem to have included disabled people in those discussions, as there are eye-glaringly painful accessibility problems for a huge portion of the userbase.
What will Discord be doing to improve this?
