Auto-Scroll Should Be Optional
Auto-scroll forces you to the newest post, but sometimes I've missed a number of them, or I want to check Facebook and come back... but no. Shoved to the bottom over and over and over again. It's frustrating. There's no reason it should be mandatory. People have been asking you to fix this "feature" for actual years. Honestly, I don't even understand why it's a thing!! If you can't add a toggle, just remove it altogether and let us scoll on our own.

Tdlr; auto-scroll is frustrating and disruptive. It makes discord difficult to use. Please fix this issue by adding a toggle or removing it.

I couldn't agree more. Auto-scroll is of course useful as a chat feature, but sometimes I'd like to read an entire channel from the beginning (to find old answered questions or discover interesting discussions) and that breaks the experience completely.
A toggle in settings would be great.
