The username change is incredibly unpopular. I've seen almost nobody in favor of it anywhere that I've seen it discussed. There's a petition with over 18k signatures at the time of writing this; A thread against the change is now the most upvoted post on this entire forum by a good four times the amount of the next-most-upvoted thread, as well as hitting the comment cap I wasn't aware Zendesk had. I'm not entirely surprised that Discord is going forward with the rollout anyway, but I'm not happy with the company's silence on the matter since the announcement. Like, I'm not sure what I want them to say exactly if not "we see this was a bad idea and we're rolling it back"... but it feels vaguely insulting to be so ignored.

I miss custom emojis, but between this absolutely backwards change and the silence following, I for one have no plan to resubscribe to Nitro as long as I remain on the platform.
