Nitro Basic Animated Pfp

i was wondering why the discord basic's (or used to be classic's) ability to have gifs as your pfp was removede and limited only to nitro? i think that discord should bring back the ability to have gifs or animated pfps back to both nitro basic and nitro. animated pfps was honestly one of my favorite features of nitro classic (now basic) and i'd like for it to return.
