Discord needs Focus Mode!
Discord is no longer just a gaming app. Many people use Discord for work and other "focus" tasks. Currently there is no way to eliminate distractions while using Discord. The Do Not Disturb status is a step in the right direction, but it has some major limitations:
- "Unread dots" still appear next to servers & channels
- Red dots still appear next to DMs and channels that mentioned the user
- It is not possible to appear offline and not be disturbed at the same time
- Cannot block access to certain servers or channels
- Cannot schedule Do Not Disturb for certain time(s) of the day
I propose adding customizable Focus Mode(s) with the above features that are missing from Do Not Disturb. Focus Mode(s) could be toggled on and off regardless of the user's status. Newer generation iPhones do a pretty good job of implementing this, if you'd like to see an example.

Also need to be able to re arrange / hide servers per mode. Let say Work Mode only show Work related servers.

Florencia Please see the very top of my post:
Discord is no longer just a gaming app. Many people use Discord for work and other "focus" tasks.
For example, I use Discord for my work sometimes (I am a software developer). There are many Discord groups for developers to learn & support each other. I also use Discord to communicate with some of my clients. I am also in some productivity communities on Discord that focus on coworking. I use Discord to log my meditations in my meditation community (I just want to open Discord and quickly write a log, then move on to my paid work, without getting a bunch of pings). I help moderate a couple of Discord servers; sometimes I have to focus on server setup/configuration, installing bots, etc. These are some examples of tasks I'd like to be able to focus on in Discord. :)

This is a duplicate of https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360052477833-Focus-Mode-better-version-of-Do-Not-Disturb- and I will be adding my comment there

Couldn't you just close the app and log back in when you don't need to be focused
