Unintuitive Direct Messages vs. Message Requests ON/OFF settings

The UI for the settings relating to allowing private messages is somewhat unituitive. I have to turn "Direct Messages" ON to allow them at all, so "ON to increase access to me") but then turn "Message Requests" OFF to have messages just come straight through, so "OFF to increase access to me." I didn't really understand this and once I saw that I needed to turn Direct Messages ON, turned on Message Requests too, assuming that turning on more would make it easier to contact me. Then I had to figure out why I had to do this message requests back-and-forth before people could talk to me.

I suggest you change it so that within a section, turning things ON moves generally everything in one direction (more expansive access or whatever) and OFF in the other direction, rather than having to have one setting ON and another OFF in order to maximize whatever you're trying to set.
