Seen a bunch of posts pop-up here, regarding account being disabled because of age-restriction. Same thing on Twitter.
Is it just me, or many people?

I think there's a process you can go through via the "Submit a request" button above. I took a screenshot of the categories you need to choose on the form to make it easier for you to get to the right place. Also notice that they ask you to attach a picture of yourself holding your photo ID and your username (presumably in opposite hands, hopefully you don't live alone or have some way to take a picture free handed).
It seems like a bit much (I'd rather not have to give up privacy in this way, personally), but on the other hand, there are a LOT of little kids that will claim to be 13 if it means they can chat with their friends. and for better or worse, COPPA is a thing.
