This is so frustrating and plain backwards. Everywhere else you look, websites, newspapers, books and e-book readers, the text is black on a white background. As it should be. I asked other people and they also prefer it that way, the way it has always been. 

Have YOU ever seen a book with black pages and white text? (think of all the ink/liquid crystals being wasted) it would be impossible to read. There isn't a good reason for this cursed inverted color scheme. It has to go. 

We need a permanent light mode and to get rid of this useless broken dark mode.

Thank you for listening and implementing my other suggestion of removing the four digit tag numbers from the usernames.
