Username "taken"

I tried to change my username to something and although it's saying it's taken, I tried to see if it really was and I wasn't able to add anyone with that username, so why can't I make my username it. 💀💀

  I have two guesses:

  1. A user took your username and disabled friend requests from everyone.
  2. Discord blocked something included in your username.
