If you get hacked that easily by a virus I hate to tell you but you might want to look into getting a better security system, also, I see 7 problems that could go wrong with this, they already fail to show that they are qualified to remove 2FA in the first place, so what would be the chances that this would go correctly?

Well, let’s hope for the best i guess, but on some websites, codes from sms is mandatory to access things like backup codes

    1. The backup codes won't work if the profile is not synced to the 2FA server which is most likely the cause for Discord 2FA lockout. 2. If they hack into your IP address your phone will be exposed and SMS. 3. What if they mess up the SMS system?

So, is there any better solution than using sms or a hardware authenticator like yubikey to combine with email auth?

Also, I would look at your financial ability into getting a security system. Also, just don't be stupid while on the internet. It could also help to be in a type of hacker organization that one guy I know had been in.

And use the current verifications provided, but you may want to check your security system provider to make sure they are actually qualified and not just saying it.

Good idea, but my problems are my own, I just offer a solution, so don’t bring personal stuff to this argument
