Here are 2 more notices sent to me by discord.

I am assuming you were from a similar discord server (or encountered the similar problem though), due to a recent "blanket ban"considering similarities between posts, but otherwise my ticket was #37793581

I'm another person that was affected by something similar, except it happened on 12:00 AM PST, 7/12/2023.

Otherwise I'm not sure what your reason was, although it's probably due to several other discord servers getting taken down recently, but the problem is there's a appeal rate of 2% according to the discord transparency report from a few hours ago for today, 7/13/2023, unfortunately, and considering there hasn't really been human responses for some strange reason, it's likely contributing to that factor still too.

It's definitely an unsettling situation. Because I am still getting the notifications that my nitro is going to renew, and I cannot even access the account to stop it or divert it to another account. Let alone the fact it's a yearly renewal for 4 server boosts worth of nitro. I would prefer to get my account back and go back to my admin duties as a moderator, or be given the opportunity to take ownership of my accounts servers.

Discord normally takes a few days or pretty much a week after the day this link is posted, although it could be linked to recent legal problems if you have paid attention to news sources though, as funds related problems are taken more seriously, even worse if it's over data protection, as what happened several times for EU servers, I should mention I highly advise bringing it up elsewhere as well like on reddit or twitter, they do respond occasionally on twitter, but reddit might get the attention from community for additional support and verification over what occurred though.

that's how I am too, I just woke up with my account deactivated on 21.06.2023 and from then until now only this bot has answered me with times to confirm my age, I showed them a picture of the bulletin and they don't even take me into account , now I say that my account will remain deactivated..

    Hello everyone,

If you received an email from Clyde stating that your account will not be reinstated, I regret to inform you that your account has been fully deactivated. This means that your disabled account will no longer be accessible, and your last option is to create a new account if you wish to continue participating in the community.

I understand that this may be disappointing news for those affected, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused. The support team has thoroughly reviewed the disabled accounts and has made the difficult decision to permanently deactivate them. Unfortunately, they are unable to reinstate these accounts.

I encourage you to create a new account if you still want to be part of the platform.

Please remember to familiarize yourself with the community guidelines and rules as you create your new account. We want to maintain a positive and respectful environment for all users.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to me, or fellow community members. We are here to support you during this transition.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

    Best regards,

    Haunt

Day 15 of not hearing back from discord support. nitro subscriber and 7 year user. (37679819)

    @Haunt

That sounds absurd. All they have to do is turn the account back on. What should I do with the emails stating I am going to be charged for my nitro still and cannot access the old account?

Shall I then have my credit card refund me all my 3 years worth of Nitro purchases?

I find this very unprofessional on discords part as I have multiple servers I can no longer manage. How do I get their ownership transferred to me?

Can I have good faith from multiple server leaders vouch on my behalf that this was completed in error?

    Best regards,

    Skulljeep

It's probably better for you to reach out on twitter to Discord, remember to check the URL for authentic discord support staff, refer to both the @discord and @discord_support twitter accounts, because they do respond there occasionally but not always, pretty much they switched onto automated moderation, I would recommend doing research into it though.

    @lily sakura

I have reached out to Discord and Discord Support on Twitter with no answers whatsoever.

It's rather appalling that I am unable to get an actual reason for why my account is disabled let alone reactivated with no human interaction and only from an AI source.

I've spent enough nitro for 4 servers for 3 years on an annual level. You would think that my voice matters having had servers with over 20k members involved.

They pretty much don't even bother looking at this anymore, if anything it takes weeks or months to even get contact, by then most people tend to lose their accounts so they just ignore it, (according to twitter the social hub workers cannot look at trust & safety reports due to rules against it, but can only reply to it, besides for technical problems that don't involve private information), I'm rather surprised nothing has happened from the Discord community to even talk about this being a problem though, besides from those who already know or realize how bad the situation is after the past three years or so, but it's probably what is expected from a large platform.

    1
  • Skulljeep

To be expected from a large platform is absurd and clearly discord is not realizing the implications this causes for multiple servers to lose ownership.

How do I transfer ownership of my old servers to my new account if I have to make one?

  • Lily Sakura

I'm not sure exactly, there are a lot of cases from 2021-2023, from reddit posts, and mentions on twitter for replies towards discord, but they do reply on the twitter accounts @discord and @discord_support occasionally though, and make sure it is the verified account, there are a lot of scam support members recently though, so you should be careful with that, and I don't think old discord servers really get deleted entirely if it's only one member affected, if there is anyone you can trust to back you up, get them to download their data package/request it, so it can be used for evidence in the future to prove further cases, although this would contain potentially private information and literally anyone with the link can download it, as discord chat is not secure (it doesn't even have end to end encryption), certainly should take this up to places like reddit or people to gain attention of, considering I am also dealing with a similar case to a discord server that's been inactive for years now basically, despite having a account from May, 2016, it got disabled around 12:00 AM PST, 7/12/2023, and I only saw it on 12:03 AM PST, 7/12/2023, so it's pretty much a mess to be expected from a platform like this, a last resort feature is legal concerns, because in some jurisdictions, like the EU, there are protections to the user, especially as your case concerns personal information and data privacy concerns as well too, but I am no expert, so speak to a lawyer or someone about that too.

Otherwise finding someone to assist you with that could help though, but I don't know the possibility of that, unfortunately it is common to see situations like these on the feedback and support forums, or elsewhere online though, I'm just another person who only recently made a account just because of a recent ban wave that seems to have targeted discord servers and staff in a "blanket ban" essentially, possibly due to a erroneous reports from stuff likely 5-7 years ago by now, so everyone's pretty much changed or grown up by then, good luck on your case as well though. They tend to reply if you get the legalities of the situation, get allowed access to a referral to said support ticket so a actual human agent could look at it, but it's roughly only a 2% success rate for accounts to get undisabled or unbanned, because they rarely look at it, and the transparency report from 7/13/2023 to 7/14/2023 proved that it was the case, only 774 people got their accounts unbanned and undisabled basically at that time though.
I generally would recommend being careful with wording though.

I understand that you're experiencing issues with your Discord account being disabled, along with many others who were affected by a ban wave. It seems that you've reached out to Discord USPS tracking upport through the designated email address and appeals, but have received automated responses or conflicting information.

Given the recent changes in how Trust & Safety works and the shift to appeals as the primary method of contact, it can be challenging to navigate the process. However, it's important to continue appealing through the provided channels and provide as much relevant information as possible to support your case.

    1
  • Skulljeep

Do you (Weinbergersonburnan) have any recommendations as to what information I should be providing? Because I don't even know what Guideline or Terms of Service I am alleged to have broken the policy thereof.

So I could use some tangible information. I understand Lily Sakura is trying to help, but the answers are soo wordy and packed with irrelevant context I am unable to understand their point in the matter.

  • Skulljeep

Everyone keeps repeating the same things about reaching out to discord on Twitter, or to keep appealing and providing information, well what more information can I give you than what I already have?

Do I need Creators with massive server communities to reach out here and leave a comment as well to vouch for my legitimacy?

Does anyone have an answer to actually solve this issue?

  • Lily Sakura

I honestly don't think there is one anymore, because apparently after they changed how discord reports work, they only really work with the evidence provided, so it's usually out of context, occasionally they can request (not directly view it at the time, which explains the delays), which this information is from discord's own announcement on the change, which explains why they basically do not review the appeals or feedback nowadays, it's straight up mentioned that they may not do that, and the general amount of case explains it though, it also explain why discord servers are getting into basically a ban wave recently though.

I think you could search up a few youtube videos on it or other information about it, but it's really down to those changes, which possibly from a few days, to a few weeks ago or months ago though.

Lily I understand you are trying to help, but your comment isn't helping me. The grammar and context is not clearly being conveyed for me to properly understand what you are trying to say.

    Best.

Well, I mean, go do your research on it, there's been a possible banwave, pretty high increase of support tickets for appeals and feedback, and the recent changes from Discord on automated moderation means it's a very low chance of it being reviewed in time before 14-30 days, but they don't usually delete accounts fully until 1-2 years later, but this again, depends if the account was disabled manually, in this case, not, so it's likely 14-30 days as supposedly a report by someone could of caused it and a review by the Discord Trust & Safety team likely had it disabled, which they only really see the presented evidence for it, so lack of context is a problem though.

Basically, very low chance of success according to the transparency report from 7/13/2023, but it's still a possibility, even if it's less than 0-0.1% according to the transparency report on all types of appeals though, although strangely misinformation is a “0%” chance of appeal though.

Lily, i think you're a bot, you keep spamming the same thing on my page. Please stop.

  • Lily Sakura

If I was a bot, then why do you have a similar copy of my support ticket then, besides slight variation in wording though.

But if you don't want help then that's fine I suppose.

Lily, there's a difference in grammar and punctuation. To be clear this is the first comment that actually makes sense you have sent.

i was scammed recently into getting my account disabled and have received 0 human support from the discord support team. im a 7 year user who has paid for nitro for probably 3-4 years, i run a community of ~2000 members at level 3 with discord hosted subscriptions being actively made by my community members each month, and because i got “lucky” with a rare username upon the system swap for usernames i was targeted in a scam to get my account disabled. all this is to say ive been a long time fan and supporter and user of discord who got scammed, and discord support has done nothing. i've already received the automated clyde message saying my account will not be reinstated, meaning my entire 3 year old community is gone once my account gets deleted.

discord created a naming system that turns its long-time dedicated members, often those hosting large and active communities, into targets for scammers. they allow these scammers to continue this on their platform and only the victims are punished. discord is literally compliant in these scams, and now im going to lose almost a decade worth of friendships and an entire community i dedicated 3 years of my life to. this sucks.

thanks haunt but i dont think i'll be using this platform again.
