My Account Was Hacked, the CSR Gave Up

I had a CSR working on my account within just an hour or so of me putting in the ticket. He couldn't find my account even though I gave him the exact user id and everything.

This is because of discord's decision to change usernames.

Even if it there was the chance you couldn't do anything, I'd have rather have been told that than to wait 10 days to watch my account get sold, all my servers deleted, and my account that I've had since 2015 get turned into a spam bot.

Sure. It's my fault for clicking a phishing link. But it's your ecosystem that made it unrecoverable. I won't get into the details unless you ask, because I'm pretty sure you know why your system doesn't work. I just got to learn about it the hard way.

I won't be supporting discord after this experience.

I'm in the same boat. I clicked the stupid thing. i admit. 14 days later i'm still waiting for my account to get returned to me while i watch the guy with my account. He's in Turkey.

Interesting, I'm also 14 days later, probably with the same guy. Only diff is now I know for a fact that my account's been sold, due to Discord Support's slowness.

So now we've gone from stolen to bought and being held by someone else.
