Main account hacked - support ignoring me
My main account was compromised this morning, and I submitted a ticket to Discord to resolve the issue and kick the hacker out to prevent further damage, but I have not heard anything from Support with regard to getting this issue resolved. I am a server owner, and an admin in another, and many of my friends have been texting me concerned about suspicious messahes and phishing attempts from my account.
If only Discord Support would actually respond…

Discord support doesn't work on weekends. Expect this process to take a week at a minimum, assuming that your account isn't disabled for spam, which will make this whole process take significantly longer. Have your friend inform all mutuals of what has happened, and go ahead and make an alt account in the interim. Good luck, you're gonna need it.

Great, because obviously scammers and hackers take breaks on weekends as well… This kind of poor quality support is the reason that Discord compromises run so rampant in the first place.

Discord's been laying off workers for weeks, especially in the Trust and Safety dpt. I've still been waiting a month for my account with no communication. They will never respond to you no matter how much information you provide but I wish you luck regardless.

I will very likely lose my almost 8 year old account in 10 days because TaS dpt is either understaffed or doesn’t care. I’ve several people have the same or account related issues that remain unanswered for weeks. Best of luck that you get your account back.
Don’t open tickets or write new stuff in your ticket, it will/can put it at the end of the queue.

This is Discord's policy on hacked accounts I can only assume at this point. I have given up on ever having my tickets answered. I tried every form of communication with them and only ever received a bot closing my tickets.

I even reported Discord to the FBI internet crimes website, because at this point they're just helping the hackers via inaction. It is utterly unacceptable that they don't have an automated account recovery or at the very least an option to disable your account so it doesn't continue to scam your friends and ban them from your server.

Same here. 8 year old account with a ‘Early Supporter’ badge got disabled for a false reason, I provided proof and they keep setting my tickets to Solved. Terrible support man

heh, Im still waiting for Discord to do something since July 14 2023 (24days) and mine has become a legal proceeding because they refused to help me with my safety I was harassed by the hacker and miliciiously attacked by them sending personal photos I had sent to my BF -forgot to delete them teh day before- and they sent it to group chats and they tried to steal about 1k from my bank account and no matter how many messages I did (through their ticket system, twitter and Facebook) they still havent done anything or gotten back to me about the issue. Now my account is sold to another stranger and they changed my name. (which I sent screenshots) AND STILL discord hasnt done anything. So I gotten ahold of my gov. and I gotten ahold of a lawyer. They failed to keep me safe, keep my privacy safe, and because of this they went against the GDPR (general data protection regulation) again which is a hefty fine.
Not to mention, I am a streamer too which is another issue, and I have about 1k ppl within my community (not just in my own personal discord but I have 3 discords because of collabs) and ppl hire me on the platform (because I Twitch DJ) so, its even worse on Discord.
Heck i even told them how to fix this on my last message to them lol they need a live chat and a damn number, Paypal did more in 30mins then these guys in the last 24days0 -
I'm on day 22 waiting for support as of writing this. The hacker threated me with my photos and then deleted the servers i owned in discord. YEARS of friends, connections, conversations, resources etc. all gone.
