Disabled with chargeback, no response from support
I like Discord and use it mainly to communicate with friends and even family, as well as work on art comissions. Long story short, my parents passed away in an accident and I survived. I've been recovering since then and during that time I noticed I've gotten charges to my credit card rather than my debit card. My bank initially suggested investigating so a claim was made, and thus a chargeback was initiated. I later learned - from the bank again - that this is the way PayPal does things if a card was expired on the account - it simply jumps to the next card in file. I didn't remember the expired card. My brain was still fuzzy from the accident and I didn't understand how PayPal did things.
Discord disabled my account - no warning - and sent me an email. I made a request, and contacted the bank to withdraw the claim and thus the chargeback. It has. The only message I've had from support has been to let me know they've received my request and an automated message from Clyde, that to be fair, helped in guiding me what they would need to verify everything. I've tried contacting them even through X (Twitter).
I sent all information I could through the request which at least is still opened, but they gave me 14 days to give them everything I could. It's been 10 days - I only have 4 more days to go before the timeline ends - and I've had no other responses nor any action taken on my account.
Some friends who managed to get my phone number had asked others if I had died - that's how worried people are - and others are traveling a distance to come visit me since I don't even have a car anymore to move around, and my legs move when they want to. I'm still getting there. Clients will be lost if the account remains closed, but most important of all, I have messages from my dad there that I would like to have access to again.
So, please, help me. This has been a heavy point of stress through all of this.
