Entrance Sounds
There doesn't seem to be an option to disable Entrance sounds within Voice Channel settings. Many servers have Voice channels where users are muted by default for things like watch parties and Entrance Sounds are disruptive to this experience.
A setting should be available within Voice Channels to prevent Entrance Sounds from triggering either where users are unable to speak, or where individual users have disabled User Join sounds within their notification settings.

Channel specific options to disable “entrance sounds” is a great idea, I second it.
I would also like an option for my account to disable hearing entrance sounds for any and all users.
I realise streamer mode and lower soundboard volume to 0 are workaround options. However I would like to see more nuance to these new feature implementations.
Streamer mode has drawbacks because you then get no notification for someone joining.
Soundboard volume at 0 is my current preferred work around, but I'm missing out on annoying soundboard spam AND tasteful uses of soundboards.2
