Onboarding requirements and default/verfication roles
At the moment the onboarding feature has some minimum requirements your server have to meet in order to use this feature.
Especially for servers with a small amout of channels those requirements are very hard to meet.
Also if a new member has to do some veryfication stuff in order to view and interact with most of the channels, those requirements are more like a barrier than a help for the server adminstration.
As for my server a new member can only see the rules and some information channels until they accept the rules. The member then gets a role with access to the other channels.
For another server where I'm on the server team new members have to intruduce themself before they get a role with access to the other channels.
I think many other discord servers have similar requirements for their new members.
Therefore it would be better if the requirements of the onboarding feature were either just recommendations instead of being forced to meet them or to give us the option to choose a role as some kind of verification role to which the requirements are bound instead of binding them to the @everyone role. The role idea makes even more sense in combination with the To-Do tasks you can set for new members.

Hi there, I support your idea of having less or no requirements for onboarding setup.
I have posted similar wishlists about this feature myself, perhaps you'd like to take a look;
