Improve the Server Guide/Onboarding feature
At the moment, it looks as if Server Guide feature can only be enabled by switching on the onboarding feature.
This is disappointing because our server (and I am sure many others) are organised in such a way that prevents us from turning on the onboarding feature due to the prerequisite requirements. The requirement for the onboarding feature is that we must have multiple channels where @everyone can see and post content. Due to the nature of our server, new members are served with a single channel to write an intro before we assign a @member role which allows them to see the rest of the server.
Our server and the nature of it means that we are frequently targeted by trolls/raiders, usually on a small enough scale to prevent triggering the existing Discord Anti-raid features. We use the above process because we feel that Discord is still not providing sufficient tools to prevent trolls/raiders from joining, it causes unnecessary strain on our mod team, so by gating the entry, we improve the experience for existing members, and reduce strain on our mod team.
Because of the above configuration, we're not able to use the onboarding features. This isn't the end of the world, however I'd REALLY like to use the Server Guide feature.
Could we look at reducing the requirements to enable onboarding, or allow us to enable the Server Guide without having to go through the entire Onboarding process, which we're unable to do with our current setup.
The frustration is that we're working in a specific way to prevent trolls and raiders because Discord doesn't have the tools in place to prevent it. And by doing this, we're limiting other features due to requirements, which seems unfair.
