HORRIBLE New Mobile UI, Questionable Priorities

Genuinely what were you thinking? Every single change made to the mobile app's UI and layout is entirely unwarranted and wholly unnecessary. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the old layout – not a single thing. The fact that it so closely mirrored the PC UI is what made it easy and intuitive to use in the first place; this new UI is clunky, unresponsive, and just straight up frustrating and annoying to navigate. I'm astounded at the sheer magnitude of thoughtlessness that went into this completely arbitrary change. And to think I was considering buying Nitro, I'm sure as shit not doing that now. Thanks for convincing me to just save my money instead, I guess? My friends and I are considering just moving to a different platform like Slack or Teams because we're honestly just so over these half-baked piles of slop you call updates that you choose to keep churning out instead of addressing the REAL problems with this platform (to name a few, there are scams, bots, impersonation, literal predators, all running rampant and unchecked). Get it together Discord, seriously.

Slack deletes message history over time so I don't exactly recommend that, though on the twitter post people were recommending Guilded as a possible alternative. Old Discord UX felt better to me but nitro-like features are free

Slack's mobile app is actually worse than the new Discord mobile app, and that's really saying something. I don't recommend it.
