New mobile UI is absolutely horrible

I love discord and all but as someone who dms alot/get dmed alot, I HATE that I have to click the dms twice now just to see watever theyre tryna say to me and it's no longer just an icon above the servers anymore. It's so much harder to keep track of everything ESPECIALLY WHEN UR A MODERATOR. Dear god, being a normal user is bad enough but moderation? Thrown out the window. Hell, outta the damn planet.

Swipe reply idea is bad, whoever pitched that needs to step back cuz this is DISCORD not WHATSAPP. I prefer just holding it down to select reply instead. Before this, I thought discord was unique but I'm dead wrong, its just another generic messaging app now. I can't see the member list anymore and this is HORRIBLE cuz I need to see who's online to do my ONE job as a moderator. The search bar also downgraded and that doesn't help at all. 

Basically, this new UI update threw out EVERYONES muscle memory of how to use the app. It's like suddenly we downloaded the wrong app. It's not friendly to ANYONE, new or old, this is atrocious. They better revert this or atleast get the server member list and dms back to normal cuz I don't have time in my life to do extra clicks and swipes just to get 1 thing done.

If ur disabled or in some way have issues adapting, man gud luck getting around now. Discord couples? Use a server instead to do ur sleep calls cuz dms are getting more uncomfortable to use (mostly cuz of the inactive kicking in dm vc).

This update felt like they only saw it from their point of view on how to enjoy an app but not for the actual people (us). Everything feels inconsiderate and not thought out.

Never getting nitro again, istg. If this is what I'm supporting with my monthly University money, I'd rather just throw it into the saving pile cuz its no longer worth it.
