Channel stuck on screen and dms open in the middle and not the bottom

Ever since the update, when I go back to the app, the channel I was in last will not go away, and will continue to be stuck on my screen, no matter what server or channel I chose to change to, it's utterly annoying and I have to constantly flick the app off from active in background just to make it work.

And when I go to friends dms, instead of going to where I just was, at the bottom, it drops me further up everytime, so everytime I click on a friend's dm, I have to scroll down just to see it, it's beyond annoying.

    I am having the exact same problem, the app is basically non-functional now. I cannot use it for servers or DMs anymore without hard resetting every time I need to open it.
