Fix Hebrew typing on desktop AND mobile
Disclaimer: This website sucks in the same way Discord does in punctuating my Hebrew sentences strangely, so I'll be putting most of my punctuation marks outside of the quote marks. Just pretend like they're inside, because that's what I mean.
Hi,
It recently came to my attention that Discord doesn't seem to support Hebrew text, specifically acting weird when I try to punctuate my sentences or type Hebrew in the middle of an English sentence. For example, my status, which I typed in as !“לילה טוב” on mobile and is displayed this way on mobile,

is displayed like this,
which is not grammatically correct and makes it nearly impossible to punctuate any Hebrew sentence I write in my status. I even tried to edit the status to put the “!” at the end, but as soon as I got the end of the word, my cursor was warped back to the beginning of the entire phrase, making sure I couldn't put the exclamation point at the end. This is less important, but I also see a variation in font between desktop and mobile Hebrew on Discord, which should probably be fixed because fonts are otherwise standardized across versions.
I'm also having issues with putting Hebrew into sentences in English on mobile, but not on desktop. This may be due to the fact that I'm not on my PC very often and don't notice the bug, but from the minimal amount of testing that I did, I haven't found any issues besides punctuation of quoted Hebrew in English sentences.
Here's an example from mobile.
https://imgur.com/a/zEyv4zl because this website won't let me upload videos. As you can see, my normal typing gets all messed up, even in English.
Because Discord's users come from all around the world and the community guidelines show that the developers want Discord to be a “platform that brings people together over shared experiences and gives everyone a place to belong,” it is important to make all Discord platforms accessible to those who speak RTL languages, including Hebrew, and Arabic which is spoken by over 450 million people around the world. In fact, here's a Reddit post from two years ago by an Arabic speaker who expresses the need for RTL languages to be supported.
RTL language support is basic accessibility and inclusivity to speakers of those languages, and is something that should be fixed.
