same situation with me but discord being the awful people they are wont remove the 2fa off my account that the hacker put there since its aGaInSt ThErE sEcUrItY rUleS and its stupid cause other platforms like steam for example will remove the 2fa so you can get back in just if you give them enought information discord dose not do that they dont like there users

I don’t know if the person put 2FA on my account but Discord keeps recommending other stuff to do when I send a ticket and it gets annoying

Yeah same thing happened to a lot of us, for me it was march this year. Took them a long time to process my request but lately they seem to actually help people with hacked accounts relatively fast, within a few days.
Open a ticket, explain your situation, if you have screenshots you should attach them, and as long as the ticket is still open, dont create a new one. It can take some time.
If they mark your ticket as “solved” without actually doing something, then you can create a new ticket. For me it took 19 tickets and 3 months, lately people seem to get their accounts back within a week or so. Good luck!

Thanks and damn 19 tickets? Okay

  • RJRacoon

Yeah because they marked it as “solved” without actually doing something. Always getting Bot Responses. Its a game of luck getting an actual employee to look into the request. But again, lately they seem to care a lot more about it

Do you guys tick that you got an email or no? I didn't but some people say you should tick it regardless.

Tried both, with “recieved am email from discord” marked as “no” and “yes”

Only difference is that if you click “no” then you will 100% get a bot reply to which you need to reply otherwise the Ticket gets autosolved. The bot will suggest things like changing your email (LMAO thats why we need support), and if you dont reply to that asking for more help then the Ticket gets solved. If you do reply that you need help then it gets forwarded to trust and safety. Not guranteed that they read it though.

If you click “yes” when submitting the Ticket it will will circumnavigate the bot and send a request directly to trust and safety. If they read it or not is still a game of luck.

Alright then, thanks. I've been ticking recieved an email and I keep getting the bot's response of “Sorry, we can't do anything. Screw you." Is this just part of the game of luck? Because I've been sending a ticket everytime they solve it.

Bro same thing happened to me like 3 months ago on March  I also got my discord account compromised by the same exact scam and I’ve been submitting countless tickets for atleast now 3 months and I keep getting nothing but responses from trust & safety etc giving me tips etc and really it’s just ridiculous and I’m really annoyed about it tbh idk what to do at this point ._.

    Same here

Agoatlol Yes thats normal unfortunatly. Took 19 Tickets for me, I have tried ticking “yes” and “no” with the email question, in 18 of the 19 tickets the result was always the same. You just need to get lucky to get that one employee that looks into those requests apparently

Only reason I started to tick “yes” was otherwise I would get a bot reply immediatly, and if you dont answer it within like 10 minutes, then your request gets autosolved.

Moldyy I was at that point as well, it really really sucks. Especially if it takes so long and others seem to get their account back within days or so. How many tickets have you submitted so far? I just kept being persistent, I mean whats the worst thing they could do if you spam them with even more requests? They dont seem to help anyways most of the time

I submitted atleast 51 tickets so far but tbh it’s been stressful for me and mostly I’m not  good at writing descriptions on the support tickets tho.

But other than that I still have been persistent tho even tho it’s been 3 months and discord support have not done a damn single thing to help me for the past 3 months now it’s honestly really annoying for me tho

    But however I did submit a new ticket yesterday so I’m just gonna wait ;-;

  • RJRacoon

Yeah that sucks. I also thought it could had been that my writing was too bad since english isnt my first language. Tried to change the written text from time to time, sent it at different days of the week, at different times, ect.
Nothing seems to increase your chances of getting through to an actual employee. It all is just a massive game of luck and its f*cked

Agree wait what do you mean by sending it at different days of the week etc and yeah I do change the description and the support ticket name every time the last one gets marked as solved tho I had to submit another ticket again today cause last one that i submitted yesterday got marked as solved and got a Clyde response :/

But I am genuinely curious about one thing tho do we have to like reply to the support tickets after you submitted a new one cause I’ve been doing that but I’m not too sure if you’re supposed to or not tho and yeah I did attached a few screenshots on the new ticket tho.

And another thing that I got curious of do we have to still include the number tag on the usernames when submitting a discord ticket I’m asking cause I’m not sure if you still did that or not tho since discord had a update like awhile ago were there’s no need for discord Number tags on usernames anymore and when I created a new discord account with a diff email of course it didn’t had any number ID anymore or gave the new account an number ID etc so yeah btw dw i remember my discord number ID tho i just wasn’t sure if we still put them on the ticket or not since again discord did some what remove where accounts don’t need the number ID’s on discord accounts anymore etc.

Oh and I forgot to mention I think I almost kinda got my discord account back cause a few of my older tickets were marked as open again till then they were closed again and marked my curr new one as solved so I had to made a follow up which also got marked as solved but maybe after the last ticket if it does get marked as solved again I’ll do a follow up on one of my old tickets again if I feel like I need to.

Because my tickets used to be closed within one day usually I started submitting tickets at different days instead of my regular time when I got home from work. Sending one at Tuesday 8AM, when this one got solved, the next one at wednesday 10PM, ect, in hopes to get a Shift that does actually care about my problem. Otherwise If I'd submit a new ticket at the same time chances are that I get the same guy at support over and over. At least that was my train of thought.

I have been doing that too, replying to the support tickets, but eventually I stopped doing that, it doesnt make a difference. If you got an actual human being to look into your ticket, small technicalities like that (replying to your own ticket) doesnt seem to matter much.

When it comes to the old tag number, I also submitted that in a few of my tickets, but in that one ticket that got my account back I didnt include my old tag number either.

Hmmm, Alright I’ll do that thanks man.

Btw I already did submitted a new ticket again yesterday tho at around 9pm so for now I’m gonna wait again etc and this time I didn’t include my number tag so yeah but anyway still thanks tho.

Update if you want: I got a response from Hunter today on my ticket saying they escalated my ticket for the team to look further into if that’s good tho?

And no I didn’t reply to hunter tho since I’m trying not to reply on my support tickets etc.

But anyway gonna wait for now wish me luck.

Wishing you the best of luck! Its always good to get that message, it doesnt gurantee that someone looks into it but at least theres a chance

RJ yeah that’s true I mean no offense I have gotten a response from Hunter before on my older tickets before but I got that response because I kept spamming the old ticket with replies and yeah Ik shouldn’t of done that but I was like panicking at the time tho and I also put my number tag on the username aswell plus clicking No on the I didn’t get a email that my email was changed etc.

And yes happy I will keep you updated if you’d like :)
