Direct Message User Limit Increase

I would like to see the number of people allowed in a direct message groups increase. Keep the same cap on number of users in a video call (10), but increase the number of users allowed in the text chat to 15.

    I would like for this feature to be added. I would be willing to purchase nitro or just the ability to increase a specific group chat by itself. I'd prefer being able to add up to 20-40 people into one group DM.

    I agree. There is when you dont wanna create a server because its too much work, and harder to access, and you have extra friends to add to the dm.

    I couldn't believe this was a thing. I've got a panel of experts together to privately chat about a specific topic, but there's more than 10 of us now as this discussion has evolved over 6 months. This makes no sense!

    The number of users in DMs should also be raised for voice calls - on a server you also can have much more, why not in DM-Groups?

     

    Raise the user limit for both to 50.

    Saw this thread 2 years ago, still waiting :)) Especially now since me and my friend group can't meet in real life, We have this discord group (which is way easier to manage than a server bc calls and people who don't use it regularly) where I always have to kick some people out so we can have 10-people conversations etc and its really annoying

    this should have been added from day one of discord groups :/

    and I see that loads of people are saying just make a server, you dont get pings the same as a group, and you cant properly ring people, seriously, this is needed as me and my friends are having troubles with space in our group and people would feel left out if they were kicked for someone else

    I would love to see an increase as servers don't give a red bubble ping unless you directly ping a member. At least an increase to 15 or 20 would be huge.

    PLeeeeeaaaaasssse. More than 15, something like 20 or even 30 would be fine. I'm tired of kicking people to let someone else join in. And server is way too overkill
