Be invisible on one server but online on another.
-
Can you do it please..
6 -
It would be really nice to have this.
I use some channels for professional purposes and others just for gaming. It would be nice not to have to mix up my private life with my business life.
Some people are just silent readers and don't want to be disturbed on these channels.6 -
If we all shared this suggestion page with one friend each, we could probably boost this one's votes to unignorable range. Because apparently 5700 votes is nothing. Let's try for 10k!
(Maybe don't share it with those you want to hide from :P )4 -
Apparently, Discord doesn't care about the number of votes.
7 -
Yeah it would be useful.

Why is this still not implemented .. WTF Discord !!

Official people comment on another post (this one https://support.discordapp.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360034565191-Server-specific-online-status) saying to comment here but why are there no official answers here? When is this going to be made a thing?
6 -
This is proof to me that those in charge of Discord are aware of this desire and have NO intent on implementing it. Apparently they feel it is more important to be able to set a custom status.

Any feedback on this? I really need this exact function right now. Please implement this for those of us in unfortunate circumstances! Or at least let us choose what online status we display as to certain users? I'm begging right now..

I STRONGLY suspect that if this ever DOES become a feature, it will be available only to those who pay the most per month.

This is a much needed feature. As discord has expanded from just gaming to work groups, family and other uses. Being able to hide when I’m streaming of gaming from professional or family servers while still showing status to gaming groups etc just seems so damn logical. Let’s go discord! We need this!

Either this feature, OR to be able to be logged into multiple accounts at once. I could allow one account to be invisible everywhere and the other account not. But even this simple feat is impossible in Discord.

Its been a year when he posted this, so i guess discord aint gonna do this, cries invisible

Privacy... an unknown concept on discord!
5 -
Yes, it is a good idea of the choice so that it is not disturbed when it is necessary.
Especially when it's a private communication.
Example: Separate the game and the private chat.4 -
I too would love this feature, individual server statuses!
4 -
Yes i want too, please.

It has been over a year since this thread started.
I would love Discord to implement this but considering how long it has been, I doubt they will. :(
4 -
Surely this can become a thing soon, right? 4 -
This would come in handy for me, as I work for a company as a support agent, I don't want my DM's spammed when I'm currently not working, so being able to appear offline just for that server while I can stay on for the rest would be great.

I was just about to create another post precisely for this same thing and came to know it was already created more than a year back and very disappointed to see that its still not added as feature despite the huge up votes it got already.
4 -
I add to the people who want this. ^^

Chances are it won't be coming anytime soon if they've ignored this thread for as long as they have. Would be a great feature though.

I am another guy who is voicing his opinion this should be a thing.
I have a few servers on which I don't want people to know I am streaming, but I do want others to know on other servers2 -
> I have a few servers on which I don't want people to know I am streaming, but I do want others to know on other servers
This really would not be as big problem if Discord allowed multiple instances. You could create a "streaming only account" and use that when streaming, and another account for all the other servers you use.

Pls where is this
2 -
This would definitely help out for sure! It'd be nice to choose who I can be available to^^
2 -
I love this idea and always have.

I would prefer to recommend Discord over Slack to my startups for a number of reasons, but this *specific issue* stops me from doing it. Need to have privacy settings for each organization, period, or Discord can't be a work tool. Shame, since it would be a great one.

2019 going on 2020. almost 2 years later. still not a thing
