Different color indicator for when someone directly mentions you versus when they say @here or @everyone.
I'm a member of a couple medium to large groups and a the end of the day I have a red bar on the channel that has somthing like over 100 mentions in it. In reality they are not mentioning me they are just sending out broadcasts that most of the time have nothing to do with me. In reality I would like that number bar to be yellow and only red if someone has directly asked me something.

I moderate a few heavy servers so its really tough to know what pings are urgent (role pings) vs regular @ mentions. Would be nice if i can click on the number box to take me directly to the list of @ mentions or @ role pings. I think this is a great idea.

Super good idea. Red for @mentions, green for @role and blue for @here/everyone would be a delight. For cases where multiple ping types are present, you could just take a priority order of mention > role > here/everyone.

Splitting the badges between direct mentions and people broadcasting would be amazing. I have left a couple of servers because they love broadcasting and id ignore the indicator only to find out later that someone did message me. Leaving means people will dm instead. This is a waste that can easily be fixed with two badges.

I'd love this! It could be role based? Roles are already colored when tagged in chat, if my role is blue, my name could be blue if i was pinged, for example 1 -
Oops. It appears my post is a duplicate of this one.
