Let mobile discord go idle instead of auto invisible/offline!

I dislike when on mobile only, if not active in the app, it will force you invisible after a few minutes. You check discord again, you are green again. It is very annoying to me that I can't stay idle or Do not Disturb if not active in the app or on PC as well. It also is slightly annoying to see people bouncing off and online every few minutes because they are on mobile only. People don't even know when mobile people around when they put down their phones for a few minutes.

    I still have this annoying problem.. I agree with the idea of a “keep me online” button, but it’s such a shame that Discord hasn’t done anything about it.

    Can this be a thing please! I dont own any pc and cant afford one and i always wanted this feature. I cant multitask or do other things without it immediately switching offline

    I have to agree with everyone else here. This is a major issue in my friend group. All mobile users suffer from this. If this isn't fixed soon, it will probably make me and my friends switch to other chat apps.

    While it's frustrating we still don't have this feature, the care and attention from the developers regarding the issue gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

    This feature has been asked to be implemented for years. We still get notifications from Discord while in the background, so should not be a problem at all. I use Discord to use photo and Video editor app, and it’s pretty stupid that I can be on a Discord call in the background, using the program while using this photo editing app Remini Mod apk in the foreground, and it shows me being offline.

    I completely agree! It can be really frustrating when Discord on mobile automatically switches you to invisible/offline after a few minutes of inactivity. It would be much better if the app allowed us to stay idle or set to Do Not Disturb even when we're not actively using it. This constant switching between online and offline status not only disrupts the flow but also makes it hard to keep track of who is available or not. It would be great if Discord could implement a feature to maintain our preferred status on mobile, just like it does on PC.

    The automatic switch to invisible when idle can be quite disruptive, especially if you prefer to stay on "Do Not Disturb" or just idle without appearing offline. This issue also creates confusion when mobile users appear to be bouncing online and offline frequently. A potential workaround could be to suggest an option within the app to maintain your status regardless of activity, similar to how it works on PC.
