Feature Request: Nitro (premium sub) for Servers

Partnered Discord Servers are neat, but not everyone is able to meet the requirements to become a partner.  It would be really cool to have a subscription for premium features for a server that you manage to make it look extra polished. I would gladly pay!

I am not sure if these things are possible, but the far fetched dreams are a calendar and threaded comments like reddit.

Less far fetched premium server stuff:

  • A sort of home page and link page rather than using a welcome text channel with set permissions.
  • Pinned message with character limit that freezes at the top and other posts scroll up under it (like you can do in excel)
  • Vanity invite link (i know partners get it, but i want it too)
  • A little customization like how the channel list appears when ppl first join the server, what the fonts look like, or colors.

    As a server owner myself, that seems like a bad idea. Getting a custom URL is the product of growing your server and building a community. That would also make Discord a "pay to win" service, which is kinda against what they're trying to do.

    I think this should be only available for verified/partner servers, since this could be easly abused to prepend to be something official

    I do not think that a this is going to happen and also, I think a vanity url will be specially for partnered and verified servers.

    This would be too easily abusable in the sense that someone could use a form of typo-squatting to hog up all sorts of potential invites related to a trusted one. Say for instance a vanity invite for a Partnered Discord was granted "example123", someone could try to create "example321" for their random Discord and catch users out. It's too risky for that reason. I also feel that it would lose that special touch because it's meant to be for servers which really stand out.

    Only partners get custom url. That is enough. No need to pay for that.

    I don't think this is a very ideal addition to Discord because people work really hard to get a partnered or verified server and to just let people pay sort of ruins the point of being partnered or verifying your server.
