Feature Request - mic detection for other people

So a person can set their own mic activation level, but why is it impossible for other people to set their mic activation level

as in, say someone doesnt want to moderate their own mic volume, so it picks up tons of background noise. could you not just make it so that you wont hear their mic unless it goes above a certain amount of decibels? kind of a strange request, but considering the popularity of volume activation now, i think it would be handy
