Use decibels instead of percentage for volume controls.

    I feel like this could cause confusion for users not understanding the Decibel system.

    You would have to know the decibel system in order for this to be successful, but they could add it as a toogle so you could turn it off to keep percentage

    This will just cause confusion, volume is more used then decibel for stuff like this
