Stop showing new messages when you are in that channel

When somebody, and even yourself I believe, will see a new messages icon when there is new messages. Useful. If you are talking in a channel but haven't scrolled up to it on the side and it tells you new messages, annoying. I propose that you change it so that if you have selected a channel it won't tell you if there are new messages until you select another channel.
