The ability to enable webcam on top of screen share/game streaming.
This just seems like a great idea, I can't think of another communication program that does this, While watching my friend stream his Beat Saber gameplay in a Discord call, we all were discussing how funny it is to see the person in real life play it because they are just flailing there arms all over the place, then this idea popped into my head. What if we could choose enable webcam to overlay ontop of a game stream or screenshare, we could then see the other persons facial reactions while playing the game. Seems like a good idea, what does the community think? (Also I am not a furry excuse my pfp, we don't talk about why it is that, seriously)

Would love to see this feature add to discord.

Else, to just enable a feature that allows you to use webcam as a screen option. That way, if you use OBS or Xsplit, you can use your software "webcam" for your discord stream.

We definitely need this option asap. It makes it a lot more fun to stream/share screen with friends, without being forced to live stream to another platform (youtube, twitch etc.).

Not sure if this topic is still active, but I've been using obs to do this myself, since I couldn't find anything online for it either.
In OBS, set up your game capture device and your video capture device (for your webcam).
Once you have everything set up, right click on the video in OBS and click on "Windowed Projector Preview".
Go back into discord, screen share, click on application window, and then choose the "Windowed Projector Preview" in OBS.
Your game capture screen as well as your webcam video should both be viewable now(:
Hope this helps!!

Wooter
If you use this method, there will not be any sound/audio captured.

yeah..... I tried this OBS solution, but while it sort of works, it is quite a hassle to do that every time you stream among your friends.
We need just this overlay.
the overlay is already there - I can see the group on discord ingame and it lights up when someone speaks etc. - and you can see that back in the stream as well.
Now just put the cam there too please.0
