YouTube has gone very far downhill. Lets do something new.

YouTube has been on a severe downfall. Just like skype. I say it's time for discord to make it's own video streaming platform. A platform that focuses on users more than creators; just like discord does. It would have it's own suggestions forum and you could even suggest to creators. It's not bombarded with ads. Simplified.

Now, I am no company whiz, but I know this will take VERY long. The patents, talking with corporations to get ads for creators (and lets make sure logan paul doesn't happen again, no offense to him) but that leads me..

This might be controversial, but make it so you have to apply to upload videos. Thats the step one. You next get a verification that you are able to upload videos now. You are presented with a screen asking what you want to upload, such as vlogging, unboxing, gaming, etc. You choose some, and you have a channel. Depending what you choose, you will have the categories you picked (which you can change later) as different categories. You will also have subcategories. For example, gaming and vlogging, and under gaming is FPS videos, simulator videos, sandbox videos, etc. and under vlogging would be vacations, home, cooking, etc. Want to find a video? No problem!

Nitro gets access to paid channels, videos, and something I am amazed isn't implemented anywhere else. A video editor. An editor thats easy to use, but has many features. I mean features like key frames, audio edits, green and blue screen edits, all the stuff. You can see why its nitro only. Any user can actually customize their channels look, down to html. Of course, you got a simple editor and an html editor.

Anyways, discord has an opportunity to become a huge platform. We can make an upload platform all together, a community built platform that is for the community. This is an opportunity to connect so many more people together, better than ever.
