Emoji Joiners In Channel Names
Currently, when putting emoji into channel names, only single-character emojis are shown correctly. For example, the 🔮 (crystal ball) emoji shows up normally, but emoji containing multiple characters like 🧙♀️ (female mage) show up as 🧙 ♀️, most likely because the character that connects them (the zero-width-joiner) is not allowed in discord channel names. The proposal is that somehow, probably by simply allowing zero-width-joiners in channel and category names, discord allows gendered emojis and other emojis requiring the joining characters.
Side Note: Some multi-character emojis can be represented currently, like emojis with changed skin colors, but this is only because they do not use the zero-width-joiner character.
Second Side Note: These characters are also removed from nicknames.
Thanks for reading this. 🙂

Oh, it's really easy. All you need to do is copy the character from an online source like https://emojipedia.org/ and then paste it into the title for the channel or category. Keep in mind that the emoji uses its character variant, not the special discord version, so emojis won't look like the twemoji images, they will look like the OS image that is used for the emoji character.
