Nitro Streaks Reclaiming

My suggestion is basically that if someone accidentally can't pay for Nitro for some reason they should be able to reclaim their streak. For example, their card was declined because something is wrong with it, or they don't have money for it at the moment. Or maybe around the time their card expires, they have to cancel/ freeze their card because of fraudulent activity and need time to get a new one.

Basically, mishaps happen and as a result, people can lose their Nitro streak. My suggestion is if they reactivate their Nitro within half a month, or maybe an even more generous 1 month, there could be a button shown in the Nitro tab that they can click to restore their streak if they wish to do so. Or maybe it could be a button that automatically creates a ticket for them that they want to reclaim their streak and it hasn't been a month yet.

So yeah, that's basically it.

    Yeah, I do strongly agree with this, back when twitch used sub streaks, they had a grace period to renew your sub before you lose benefits, but this is a good idea for boosting as well

    @Valcrye Discord has this also, however it's really short. Only a few days. If there's a problem like you had to get a new card or had to freeze it for some reason or anything like that, it usually takes around a week at least to get a new card. Then there could also be other problems. Like, maybe if PayPal decides to freeze your account for whatever reason, sometimes it can take a month to get the money back.

    I completely agree on this one. Since it's sorta unfair if they just have 1 card issue since they can't control it and then lose all of the streak.

    I know this thread was 2 years ago but i just came across this. I was on nitro classic for a few months and it expired about a few hours ago, I decided to get nitro boost and my streak completely reset, kind of a pity ://

    Another victim of an interrupted subscription here. The fact that my 3+ years long streak is now gone because I accidentally went without Nitro for less than an hour (I thought a claimed gift would apply automatically, apparently it doesn't) kind of stings.

    Would really like to see this implemented; I know a ton of people who have lost their streaks because they were without Nitro for an hour or so.
